CM Presents MOU of AYU (American Yoga University)

In a glittering function Chief Minister Sri B S Yadiyurappa presented the MOU to Dr H R Nagendra Vice-Chancellor SVyasa University Bangalore in presence of Sri Sri Shivathri Desiekendra Sawmiji Dr Veerendra Heggade and Rastrakavi Dr Shivarudrappa to mark the collaboration of J S S Mahavidya Peetha and SVyasa Universities at JSS Center Bangalore recently This joint effort will bring Yoga and Spiritual Sciences together for the welfare of mankind. The project will be initially begin at JSS Centers at Mysore, Bangalore, Noida, Mauritius and Dubai and later extended to JSS Spiritual center at Gaithersburg, Maryland USA training of Yoga teachers on scientific methods of teaching by the experts from SVyasa University to staff ,teachers and students leading to methodical approach of Yoga is one of the main aim of these Universities. This is the first time that two well-known Universities of the country have come together. The various objectives and curriculum were discussed on 22nd August 2008 between Dr H R Nagendra Vice-Chancellor, Dr R Nagarathna Director-Arogyadhama SVyasa and Prof D H Dhananjayan Director, JCE to frame the methodology.
Sri B S S Rao Hon Secretary SLA Foundation Mysore and SVyasa University who was instrumental in these efforts was also present.
