5.1 Human Values 12

The great human values described in Bhagavadgita are presented here

KSANTI

Ksama is absence of retaliation.

If you can see the same mind of the child inside the grown up body, then you can accommodate him. Ultimately our behavior should be such that others should not be hurt. This is real growth.
If others hurt you it is only mirroring your personality. They are holding a mirror to you. If you can find out why hurt has happened, it has taught you a lesson. If the other person’s speaking can hurt me, it should not be repeated by me, by speaking in the same manner to the other.
Not to get disturbed by others is perhaps easy but not to disturb others is very difficult. You must have so much of control over yourself that others do not get disturbed by you under any situation. This should be a value in life.

ARJAVAM

Arjavam comes from the word rju meaning straight. When there is an alignment in thought, word and deed, it is arjavam.
